  • Instructions:

    • Pull a card from your favorite deck or decks.

    • Write down its key message or symbolism and how it relates to your current thoughts, emotions, or goals.

    • Use it as a lens for reflection or guidance.

Tip: If you’re new to tarot, focus on the imagery or message and let your intuition guide you. Choose a deck that resonates with you, as the author’s perspective can also deepen your understanding and learning.

  • Instructions

    • Begin with free writing to clear your mental clutter. Let your pen flow without judgment, writing whatever comes to mind. This process helps you see that thoughts arise from nowhere, offering a chance to become more aware of them.

    • Once your mind feels clearer, shift to mind mapping for deeper exploration. Write a central idea or emotion—like a trigger or insight—at the center of the page. Then draw lines outward, connecting related thoughts, feelings, or patterns you might not have noticed otherwise.

    Tips
Inspired by Julia Cameron’s Morning Pages from The Artist’s Way, this practice blends spontaneous writing with visual tools to help you deepen awareness and clarity. Use this process for self-discovery, working through triggers, or gaining insights into challenging emotions.

  • Instructions

Begin by taking a moment to observe and acknowledge your feelings. Write down everything you’re experiencing, even if it seems contradictory—like joy and frustration coexisting. It's incredible how much we can feel at once, and this practice is an opportunity to release judgment and simply witness your emotions without trying to change them.

If recognizing feelings feels challenging, use a tool like the Feelings Wheel to deepen your understanding. Identify surface emotions and trace them to their underlying roots. Keeping a large poster of the wheel nearby, as I do, can be incredibly helpful as a visual guide during your practice.

    Breathing
Take slow, intentional breaths as you identify and map your feelings. This helps ground you, allowing space for emotions to arise and be acknowledged without resistance.

    Tips
Approach this practice with curiosity and openness. Let go of judgment and remember that all feelings are valid—they simply reflect your experience in the moment. Over time, this practice builds emotional awareness, helping you navigate emotions with greater clarity and compassion. Keep your Feelings Wheel within reach for easy reference, making it a seamless part of your routine.

  • Instructions
Take a moment to reflect on the things, people, and experiences in your life that bring you joy, comfort, or inspiration. Write them down in your journal, allowing the list to flow freely without judgment. Let this practice be an opportunity to appreciate even the smallest details, from a warm cup of coffee to a meaningful conversation.

    I am grateful for __________.

    Breathing
As you write, inhale deeply and imagine filling yourself with the energy of gratitude. Exhale slowly, letting go of stress or negativity, and allow yourself to feel the warmth and abundance of what you’ve written.

    Benefit
Gratitude shifts your perspective and primes your mind to recognize more good in your life. This practice not only improves your mood but also strengthens your capacity to stay grounded in positivity throughout the day. Revisiting your list later can serve as a powerful reminder of what truly matters, helping you navigate challenges with a more open heart.

    Tips
Try to be specific when listing what you’re grateful for—details bring this practice to life. For example, instead of writing “family,” you might write “the laughter I shared with my family at dinner last night.” Over time, this specificity can deepen your appreciation and make the practice even more meaningful.

  • Instructions
Begin by reflecting on the energy of the day, guided by the Dreamspell Calendar. Each day within the 13-day wavespell carries a unique purpose, and your intention should align with this energy to stay focused and grounded in your journey.

Write a clear and specific intention for the day that resonates with the overall purpose of the current wavespell. This connects your daily actions to the larger energetic flow, helping you harness the full power of alignment. For example, if the wavespell focuses on transformation, your intention might be, “I release old patterns to step fully into my growth.”

    Breathing
Take three deep breaths, focusing on your written intention. Inhale deeply to draw the energy of the intention into your being, and exhale to let go of anything that doesn’t align with it.

    Tying It All Together
Reinforce this intention during your Harnessing Intent practice. This physical and energetic practice helps anchor your focus and amplify the power of your intent, ensuring it remains steady throughout the day. By integrating your intention with the energy of the Dreamspell Calendar, you’re not only aligning with cosmic cycles but also creating a powerful synergy between your inner and outer worlds.

    Tips
Revisit your intention throughout the day to keep it alive in your mind and actions. If distractions arise, take a moment to reconnect with your intention using a brief breathwork exercise or visualization. This consistency builds momentum, tying your daily intentions to the overarching purpose of the wavespell for transformative growth.
